Stephen Bradley embarked on his managerial career with Shamrock Rovers as caretaker manager in 2016 before being officially appointed head coach later that November. Stephen’s playing career included a league victories with Drogheda and Rovers (in 2010). Under his guidance, 2019 saw the team triumph in the FAI Cup, overcoming Dundalk 4-2 on penalties in the final to win their first FAI Cup since 1987 and their first piece of national silverware in eight years.
Bradley’s tenure continues to be marked by success, leading the team to their 18th league title in 2020, clinching the championship with four games left to play. This victory marked the beginning of a dominant era, as Rovers, under Bradley’s stewardship, retained the league title in 2021 by a margin of sixteen points. The team’s prowess was further solidified with a third consecutive league title in 2022, alongside securing a spot in the group stages of the 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League. In 2023, Bradley steered Shamrock Rovers to an unprecedented fourth consecutive League of Ireland Premier Division title, emulating the famous 1980s side, but becoming the first manager to do so.
