Shamrock Rovers Academy is delighted to announce Ballyoulster United AFC as an affiliate club within our overall Club Partner and Affiliate programme.
Speaking about the partnership, Shamrock Rovers Director of Academy Operations, Simon Friel, commented “It’s great to welcome Ballyoulster United AFC as an affiliate of Shamrock Rovers Academy. Having visited the Club a number of weeks ago, it was really impressive to see what is going on and the future plans they have in place to further develop the Club. This is an exciting time for all involved and the local community that they serve, offering football to boys and girls across all ages up to senior level. I look forward to seeing how the club grows and I’m thrilled with this affiliation.”
On behalf of Ballyoulster United AFC and its members, Chairperson Derek O’Kelly said “I’d like to say it’s an honour to be affiliated with the most successful club in the country: Shamrock Rovers. It comes at a perfect time as we look to expand our facilities and align them with best in class… and Shamrock Rovers has set the bar in this department. With almost 600 members and 50 teams, we look forward to the many benefits an affiliation with a club such as Shamrock Rovers can bring to all.”
