The members club is delighted to announce that the first section of the ‘brick in the wall’ project is now sold out.
This follows reaching out to; and making contact with, 169 of the 200 original purchasers of a brick back in 1999-2002 as well as a priority sales window to club members.
Sadly, 37 of the original purchasers have passed on. The members club is honouring all of these in full, and their names will proudly go on the Forever In Time wall as they wished for.
The second phase is now open to the general fanbase where we will commence sales on a second section of wall behind the South Stand that will run alongside section one.
As you may be aware, the original concept from 1999 was to allow supporters to purchase a brick that would commemorate themselves or a deceased family member who followed Rovers, and at the time, would be a source of revenue to the football club.
The cost of an engraved, granite brick is €250, any profits will go to the members club.
Information from the recent launch announcement is here
The payment link is here. Stage 2 sales will close at the end of April, at which stage, construction of the Forever In Time walls will commence.
IMPORTANT: When completing payment, please fill in the amount i.e. €250 and, very importantly, the name that you want engraved in the field called ‘Reference‘ N.B. This is what will be engraved on your brick, please make sure the spelling is correct.
Please also note all bricks are one size, some double-barrel names may have to be reviewed if they are deemed too big when they go out for engraving. If you are purchasing multiple bricks, please do so with individual purchases per brick so that we have a clean record of purchases and, most importantly, have each name captured for the bricks.
